Louis Doulas

Portrait of Louis Doulas

I’m a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Extending New Narratives in the History of Philosophy project at McGill University.

My research focuses on issues in epistemology, methodology, and the philosophy of science. I primarily work on these issues in the historical context of early analytic philosophy and, secondarily, in the context of present-day debates.

I received my PhD in Philosophy from the University of California, Irvine (June 2024), after completing an MA in Philosophy at Brandeis University. Before finding my way to philosophy, I studied art. After a BFA in Studio Art at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, I wrote about what came to be known as post-internet art in New York.

I’m also the Project Manager for the New Voices in the History of Philosophy podcast and a Production Assistant at the Journal for the History of Analytical Philosophy.
