Art Writings

Before finding my way to philosophy, I had a short-lived career as an art writer of sorts. That didn’t exactly pay the bills, so I worked various other jobs: first as New York Correspondent for e-flux, then as Associate Editor for SNAP Editions. Before all that though, I was an Editorial Fellow at Rhizome at the New Museum of Contemporary Art. It was my first job as a writer and many of the articles and interviews below were written and conducted on Rhizome’s behalf. Though my art writing days are mostly behind me, I hope to write more about art, in both philosophical and experimental capacities, in the future.

Pool, or pooool.info, was a research project I founded in 2011 that explored the relationship between contemporary art and the internet. The project culminated in an online platform and PDF publication spanning eight issues, with over forty published articles from contributors worldwide. The project came to a close in 2012.
